James Webb telescope’s first images to be released this week: Here’s when & where to watch
The first images captured by the James Webb Space Telescope will be shown to the general public this week. If you are into stargazing, you should make time for this event.

Those who wish to see the first set of images will have to wait till Tuesday or July 12, 2022. 10:30 a.m. EDT or 14:30 GMT that is when NASA is releasing new Webb images for public exhibition. The images will be released one after another through a televised broadcast from the Goddard Space Flight Center based in Greenbelt, Maryland.
The space community has planned an elaborate launch for these images. The media is likely to cover this launch event on a wide scale. Close to $10 billion has been spent on putting together this space telescope. Several decades have gone into building it, so the space community is quite protective about it and want it to be exhibited in front of the world properly.
Twitch, Daily Motion and NASA TV will do a live broadcast of the event on YouTube. The release of each image will coincide with its release on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Those who wish to see all the images together should visit NASA’S official website after the livestream comes to an end.
