James Cameron fanboys over RRR and encourages SS Rajamouli to work in Hollywood

SS Rajamouli's newest blockbuster 'RRR' made India proud. Apart from the film's recent worldwide triumph (Golden Globes and CCA award), Rajamouli has also pleased one of the creative directors, James Cameron. James and Rajamouli recently met after the Golden Globes Awards, and a video of their chat demonstrates Rajamouli's international appeal.


'Avatar: The Way of Water' filmmaker James Cameron is seen discussing Ram Charan-Jr NTR in a 3-minute video. During the meeting, James was accompanied by his wife, Suzy Amis, and the director was excitedly discussing RRR with Rajamouli. Rajamouli appeared transfixed by Cameron's reaction. With Rajamouli, the acclaimed director decrypted RRR. James Cameron complimented Rajamouli's film and said, “It's amazing to watch Rajamouli's characters interact”. And how the characters move on to the history of why he's doing what he's doing, the twists and turns, and friendship. It's simply so strong.





James also talked about how Rajamouli would be feeling, after getting the pride of the Indian audience. James also asked Rajamouli to work with him in Hollywood.


Earlier, Rajamouli resorted to Twitter to express his joy, saying that he still can't believe it. Rajamouli tweeted about his interaction with James Cameron and wrote how he liked and watched the RRR and later also showed the movie to his wife. He also posted images of himself conversing with James Cameron and his wife.
