'Jairam Ramesh a Chinese pet': Mahesh Jethmalani accuses Congress leader of lobbying for Chinese cos in India
Numerous countries allege that Huawei's products may purposely contain security holes that China could use for spying purposes. Hence, many countries have banned Huawei, including the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Sweden, among others.

Earlier today, Jethmalani shared an excerpt from Ramesh's book on his Twitter handle and said, "Since 2005, Jairam Ramesh has been lobbying for Chinese telecom company Huawei’s activities in India." Huawei has been banned in several countries as a security threat. Jairam is now questioning the government of India's stance on China."It behoves him to disclose his Huawei links."

"I'm concerned that for someone with such a background, if it was done in the spirit of inquiry as an MP, then there was nothing wrong." But you seem to be taking an anti-India and pro-Chinese line... "Are you speaking out of genuine concern for India or out of motivated interest?" asked the BJP MP.
