Anonymous email threatens to blow up Jaipur airport
Jaipur Airport Bomb Threat Email: The Jaipur airport authority received an email on Wednesday, with the sender threatening to blow up the airport, the police informed on Thursday.

The airport authorities alerted the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and other security officials, initiating a thorough search operation at the airport. A bomb disposal squad was on standby during this process. As of the latest updates, there hasn't been official confirmation of any explosive device being discovered by the security officials. Nevertheless, security measures, including enhanced screening, were implemented at the airport.
This incident follows a similar threat in November at Mumbai International Airport, where an email demanded a hefty sum in Bitcoin within 48 hours, threatening to blow up Terminal 2. Fortunately, that threat was later deemed a hoax.
RBI also received a threat email earlier this week, leading the Mumbai Police's crime branch to apprehend three individuals from Vadodara, Gujarat, including a stock trader. The email, which induced panic among the public, conveyed information about the placement of 11 bombs at various locations in Mumbai.
