'Jailer' release postponed, Rajinikanth-starrer to not clash with Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'

The producers chose to postpone the release because they did not want to rush through the post-production tasks for the ambitious films. The shooting for Jailer has not yet been completed due to the busy schedules of the well-known actors who play important roles in the film.
