'Jaddu, your ex-coach is watching': Srikkanth's hilarious commentary during India-WI T20I

It was a hilarious moment in the commentary box. Former Indian cricket team captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth left fans in splits with his choice of words while commentating alongside former India coach Ravi Shastri in the first T20I between India and the West Indies.

In a short video clip that has gone viral, Kris Srikkanth and Ravi Shastri are heard praising Indian allrounder Ravindra Jadeja while he was batting in the middle.

Srikkanth can be heard asking Shastri, “Aap kya soch rahein hai? India 200 marega ya nahi marega? (What do you think? Will India hit 200?), and then goes on to add: "Jaddu, aapka ex-coach hai idhar commentary box mein. (Jadeja, you have your ex-coach here in the commentary box). What an improvement he (Jadeja) has had since Ravi (Shastri) became the coach.”



Jadeja scored 16 runs off 13 balls while batting in the first T20I against West Indies. Later, Jadeja dismissed Jason Holder for a duck in his four over spell. He conceded just 26 runs.

Earlier, Jadeja missed the ODI series against the West Indies due to a knee injury. Jadeja was named vice-captain of the Indian team for the ODIs.
