The 'Housefull' actor is under fire again after an old beauty pageant video of her surfaced on social media. In the video, Fernandez, who has crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006 before making her Bollywood debut, was asked about cosmetic surgeries, which she termed as an "unfair advantage" that goes against the "concept of beauty pageants."


When asked her opinion about cosmetic surgery she answered, "I do believe cosmetic surgery is an unfair advantage because it goes against the whole concept of beauty pageants, which is to celebrate women's natural beauty,". "Plus, if cosmetic surgery is encouraged, it will become a question of who can afford it rather than who cannot." Fernandez clarified, "And that is not the point of beauty pageants."



As the video, which was originally shared by a pageant page, spread on social media, keyboard warriors slammed the Bollywood celebrity for the contradiction in her words and actions. A social user commented on the Instagram post, "Isn't she had a lip job done after joining Bollywood?"

"Except now she looks nothing like this," wrote another. "Then she ended up with a whole new face," opined a third user, while a fourth mentioned, "the change of opinion when you join movies later."
