Jackie Shroff's 44,000-square-foot farmhouse has a Titanic Point, fish ponds with ducks, and an akhada gym

Actor Jackie Shroff recently opened the doors of his farmhouse between Mumbai and Pune to filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan. The 44,000-square-foot property, surrounded by greenery, is a retreat where he grows organic produce, raises animals, and spends time with family and friends.

A gift for his 25th wedding anniversary

Jackie Shroff bought the farmhouse as a gift to mark his 25th wedding anniversary. Since then, it has become one of his most cherished places to relax. The property features wide stretches of land, a large fish pond with ducks, a poultry section, and gardens filled with organic fruits and vegetables.

During Farah Khan’s visit, the two prepared patte ki bhaaji in traditional mud pots over a rustic chulha. Jackie gave her a tour of the open kitchen where food is cooked using fresh produce from the farm.

A glimpse of nature and memories

The actor showed Farah a tree he planted 12 years ago on his mother’s birthday. The moment moved her deeply. He also mentioned his plan to create more space for his cattle on the farm.

While touring the farmhouse, Jackie led Farah to a spot he fondly calls his “Titanic Point.” There, they posed together in the iconic Titanic style.

Light banter and laughter

A curious Farah asked, “Dada, yahan shooting allowed hai kya?” Jackie replied with a smile, “For you, everything is allowed.”

Amused by the number of plants around, Farah asked, “How many plants do you think you have here?” Jackie said, “I believe over 700.” Farah joked, “Don’t tell me you bring the plants to parties from your farm!” Jackie laughed and said, “I do.”

Before wrapping up, Farah and her longtime cook Dilip performed at Jackie’s open-air amphitheatre. Impressed, Jackie said, “He’s so good! Did you train him?” Farah replied, “I’ve forgotten everything.” Jackie added playfully, “Mujhe laga mujhe sikhaate sikhaate thak gayi thi tu!”

Jackie Shroff’s farmhouse also has a swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, an open-air amphitheatre, and an akhada-style gym. Surrounded by over 700 plants, it stands as a reflection of his love for nature and simple living.
