Farah Khan and her cook Dilip recently visited the farmhouse for their YouTube show Fun With Farah Khan, giving viewers a closer look at the actor’s peaceful getaway. The visit showcased the property’s extensive greenery, open spaces, farm animals and personal touches.

Jackie planted a Kadamba tree in memory of his mother

One of the more personal elements of the farmhouse is a Kadamba tree that Jackie planted around 12 years ago in memory of his mother.

The actor also spoke about the tree’s significance in Hindu mythology. Traditionally associated with Lord Krishna, the Kadamba tree features in several stories connected with Krishna and Radha.

The tree adds a personal dimension to the farmhouse, where much of the greenery appears to have a connection with Jackie’s memories and interests.

Farmhouse has an amphitheatre and ‘Titanic Spot’

The property also features an amphitheatre, adding an unusual element to the sprawling countryside retreat.

Farah and Dilip explored the amphitheatre before heading to the ‘Titanic Spot’, an iron-clad viewing platform overlooking the surrounding farms and countryside.

The elevated platform offers panoramic views of the landscape and gives the farmhouse another distinctive feature. Farah also suggested that the property could be used as a location for film shoots.

The farmhouse also has a rustic kitchen where Jackie prepared a traditional home-cooked meal for Farah and Dilip.

The meal included amaranth saag, baigan bharta, a kanji-like rice preparation and roti. The simple spread matched the overall character of the farmhouse, which places greater emphasis on nature, open spaces and a rural lifestyle than on elaborate interiors.
