'It looks absolutely stunning': Anand Mahindra shares India's highest, longest glass skywalk bridge

"This new glass skywalk in Vizag, perched over Kailasagiri Hill, is reportedly opening next week and it’s already being touted as one of the tallest of its kind in the world," Mahindra said in a post on X.
He said that China's Zhangjiaje skywalk holds the world records both height and length, but added that India's bridge is not far away. The bridge at Vishakhapatnam, he said, has a vertical drop of 262 meters.
"Unsurprisingly, China still holds the global records for skywalk height and length, with the Zhangjiajie glass bridge placed 300 m above ground and stretching 430 m long. But Vizag’s version isn’t far behind with a vertical drop of 262 m. It looks absolutely stunning, but will it make it to my bucket list? Probably not. Heights and I have a complicated relationship. For now, I’ll stay an armchair #SundayWanderer and enjoy the views through videos instead," Mahindra added.
According to a TOI report, the skywalk is 50 meters long and is located near the Kailasagiri Titanic viewpoint, which is one of Visakhapatnam's most popular tourist destinations.
The glass bridge is designed to hold up to 40 people at a time, the report said. It added that the skywalk project also includes two zip-lines and sky-cycling tracks, each stretching 150 meters.
The bridge is set to leave behind Kerala's Vagamon glass bridge, which currently holds the title for India’s longest cantilever glass bridge at 40 meters.
