Is Mahima Chaudhry really married to Sanjay Mishra? Here's the truth behind the viral photos

Recently, photos of Bollywood actors Mahima Chaudhry and Sanjay Mishra dressed as a bride and groom went viral, leading many to believe that the two had secretly tied the knot. The buzz intensified as Mahima, who was earlier married to Bobby Mukherji from 2006 to 2013, appeared in full bridal attire. The former couple shares a daughter, born in 2007, and parted ways in 2013 before finalizing their divorce.

In the viral clip, Mahima and Sanjay can be seen stepping out of a building and posing for photographers, further fueling speculation about a real wedding. However, the truth behind the viral photos is quite different — it’s all part of a promotional campaign for their upcoming film, Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shadi, directed by Siddhant Raj.

Earlier, the film’s makers had released a motion poster featuring Sanjay Mishra holding a photograph of Mahima dressed as a bride. The caption playfully read, “Dulhan mil gayi hai, ab tayaar ho jaiye, kyunki baraat nikalne wali hai, aapke nazdeeki ya thode door ke cinemas se” (The bride has been found, so get ready — the wedding procession is about to begin at a cinema near you, or maybe a little farther).


For the record, Sanjay Mishra has been married twice — first to Roshni Achreja, with whom he has a son, and he is now married to Kiran Mishra.

Mahima, known for her roles in ‘Pardes’, ‘Dhadkan’, and ‘Emergency’, was last seen in ‘Nadaaniyan’ also starring Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Suniel Shetty.

Sanjay Mishra who is known for a long list of movies like 'Aankhon Dekhi', 'Masaan', 'All The Best' among many more, was most recently seen in Umesh Shukla’s ‘Heer Express’, co-starring Divita Juneja, Prit Kamani, and Ashutosh Rana. He was also seen in 'Son Of Sardaar 2'.
