IRCTC launches first-ever Indore-Nepal Bharat Gaurav Tour Train: Date, fare, route, itinerary, booking details

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special spiritual journey to Nepal — the Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra — under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train scheme. The 9-night, 10-day religious tour will depart from Indore on June 12, offering devotees and tourists an opportunity to visit some of Nepal’s most famous religious and scenic destinations, including the revered Pashupatinath Temple.

Notably, this will be the first-ever Bharat Gaurav tourist train to travel outside India.

The special Deluxe AC tourist train will cover major attractions such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park and Manakamana Temple. The package also includes a ropeway ride to Manakamana Temple and a Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park.

IRCTC Nepal Tour 2026: Duration and Route

The tour will run for 09 Nights and 10 Days on the following route:

Train Route: Indore – Raxaul – Indore

Tour Destinations: Chitwan – Pokhara – Manakamana – Kathmandu

According to Rahul Holkar, Executive Tourism (Indore), the train will have 14 coaches with three travel categories:

Superior AC First Class
Deluxe AC Second Tier
Comfort AC Third Tier

There will be total 150 seats including 20 Superior AC I (Coupe), 38 Superior AC I (Cabin), 36 Deluxe AC II Tier,
and 56 Comfort AC III Tier seats

What Is Included in the IRCTC Nepal Darshan Package?

The all-inclusive package covers train travel, hotel stay in 3-star hotels, onboard and offboard meals, AC bus transportation for sightseeing, tour escorts, travel insurance, security, and housekeeping services.

Passengers across all categories will get AC hotel rooms, AC bus transfers, and access to restaurant coaches onboard the train.
