Iravin Nizhal, R Parthiban's latest movie, is winning hearts everywhere

R Parthiban and his team have won hearts with "Iravin Nizhal".

Iravin Nizhal, Parthiban's latest Tamil film, was recently screened at the Cannes Film Festival. It has been receiving rave reviews all over the world.

In the movie, Parthiban plays Nandu, a man on the lam who hides at a dilapidated ashram to avoid police. His life's incidents are recounted as he reminisces about good, bad, and ugly experiences in his life.


Iravin Nizhal begins with a mirage. It shows distorting images while shadows and lights tumble out. Set to music by AR Rahman, the haunting song ‘Kaayam’ plays.

Unlike most films done in one-shot, there is not even a bit of editing gimmickry in Iravin Nizhal. A 30-minute video is there to prove this.
