The disruption has resulted in multiple flight suspensions and cancellations, leaving thousands of travellers — including actors, athletes, and tourists — stranded in the region.

Ajith Kumar’s return to Chennai delayed

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar was in Abu Dhabi for professional training ahead of a motorsports event when the crisis began. With several flights suspended due to the situation, his return journey to Chennai has been delayed. His team has reassured fans that the actor is safe.

Actress Esha Gupta, who is currently in Abu Dhabi, shared a message expressing concern over the tense situation. She wrote, “Times are scary, very tough. God is there to protect us,” while reassuring fans about her safety.

Sonal Chauhan seeks help from PM Modi
Meanwhile, actress Sonal Chauhan appealed directly to Narendra Modi for assistance in returning safely to India. She revealed that she is currently stranded in Dubai after flights were cancelled and requested guidance and support from Indian authorities.

Posting a photo of the view from her building, she wrote, “It’s been a crazy 2 days here.” In another post, she shared her anxiety, writing, “No matter what, this feeling of anxiety and dread lingers becuz you just don’t know what’s gonna happen next. Can’t even get to sleep, your brain is on high alert. It’s so late and I am wide awake.”
