iQOO 15R to come with 7,600mAh battery: Check launch date in India, price, specifications, camera details and more

iQOO is set to make its debut in the Indian market as a watered-down variant of the iQOO 15. The launch date for iQOO is February 24, 2026 and new details have been added to its Amazon microsite.The iQOO 15R is shaping up to be a high-performance device, geared towards gaming and demanding tasks. One of the confirmations regarding iQOO is its 7,600mAh battery, which is on the larger side even by current standards.

What makes this interesting is that despite the big battery, iQOO claims the device will measure just 7.9mm in thickness. The phone is also expected to support fast charging, and if rumours are accurate, it may offer 100W wired charging.

iQOO Launch date in India, price

-iQOO is slowly rolling out details about its upcoming smartphone, the iQOO 15R, ahead of its India launch scheduled for February 24.


-iQOO has confirmed the 15R will be priced under Rs 50,000. The device will compete directly with rivals like the OnePlus 15R.

-The device is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Pricing reflects a strategic shift in iQOO’s product lineup.

-The Neo series has traditionally targeted the sub-Rs 40,000 segment. iQOO’s flagships have extended toward the Rs 75,000 range to strengthen its presence in the upper mid-premium market.

iQOO 15R: Q2 gaming chip and new OriginOS 6 version

iQOO has a microsite live revealing key details about the upcoming iQOO 15 series design and features. The phone is expected to feature a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display with adaptive screen switching for smoother navigation.

iQOO 15R is tipped to include a Q2 gaming chip aimed at low-latency, enhanced gaming performance. Likely to run on OriginOS 6, similar to recent iQOO launches.

iQOO 15R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, promising flagship-level performance at a relatively lower price. Design highlights may include a dual-tone finish, metal body, and IP68/IP69 ratings for durability.

Expected to sport a large 6.59-inch display with 1.5K resolution (possibly slightly larger). Camera setup may feature a 200MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

Battery could be a massive 7,600mAh unit with 100W wired charging support. Expected starting price may be around Rs 55,000.

iQOO 15R: Know the specifications

iQOO will be bringing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Speculations are that we will also get to see 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage in the device as well. Apart from that, it has also been confirmed that the same will be running on the OriginOS 6 based on the Android 16 operating system.

The phone may feature a dual rear camera setup and xpected to include a 200MP primary camera with OIS.

Likely to have an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. A 32MP front camera may be offered for selfies and video calls.
