BookMyShow has opened pre-sale registration for IPL tickets for the upcoming clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on its website and mobile app, giving fans an early chance to secure seats for the much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season, reports NDTV Profit. BookMyShow has clarified that fans must register now for early access to IPL tickets for matches involving Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT). However, the platform has made it clear that registration does not guarantee ticket purchase or stadium entry.

According to the platform’s terms and conditions, registration only provides an opportunity for early access to IPL ticket sales, which will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis once bookings open. The ticketing platform is the primary destination where cricket fans typically purchase IPL tickets for matches across venues during the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announced the IPL 2026 fixtures on March 11. The league’s official handle on X revealed that defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the opening match on March 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
For now, the schedule has been announced for the first 20 matches of IPL 2026, which will be played between March 28 and April 12. The complete IPL schedule will be released later, after the polling dates are announced for three states set to hold Assembly elections.
