He told ANI, “We will announce the first 20-day schedule of IPL 2026 in two or three days after considering the election dates in some states. The rest of the tournament schedule will follow later.”

The split release is due to upcoming state assembly elections in Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, which require careful scheduling.
