Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru stormed into the IPL 2026 final with a commanding 92-run victory over Gujarat Titans on Tuesday (May 26). Playing Qualifier 1 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, skipper Rajat Patidar delivered a sensational unbeaten 93 off just 33 balls, hitting five boundaries and nine sixes, powering RCB to a formidable 254/5 in 20 overs.

In response, RCB’s bowling unit, spearheaded by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, put on a clinical display to dismiss GT for 162 in 19.3 overs.

Gujarat Titans had pinned their hopes on openers Shubman Gill and B Sai Sudharsan for a strong start in the high-stakes encounter, but both batters failed to deliver.
