IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals unveil new jersey after David Warner's captaincy announcement

Delhi Capitals, led by David Warner, unveiled their new jersey on Sunday for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. The team released a photo of its brand-new jersey on its official Twitter account. The David Warner-led side has also kept their traditional red and blue colours in their new jersey.



The Delhi Capitals revealed their new IPL 2023 jersey to their fans via Twitter on Sunday. Prithvi Shaw, Axar Patel and David Warner could be seen wearing the new jersey in the post. "Nayi Dilli ki Nayi Jersey," they captioned the image.


The name of the outfit's sponsor, JSW, is inscribed in the centre. The name Green panel is scripted in the upper right corner. The jersey is dark blue in colour. The shoulders and collars, on the other hand, are red. Fans reacted quickly to the post. While some people like their new jersey, others think their old one was better.

DC will begin its IPL 2023 campaign on April 1 against KL Rahul's Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). In the previous tournament, the franchise finished fifth with seven wins in 14 games.



In the IPL 2023, David Warner will lead the squad. Rishabh Pant, their regular captain, will be unable to compete in the tournament. Pant is being treated for injuries sustained in a car accident.
