IPL 2023 auction is scheduled to be on December 23, 2022 in Kochi405 cricketers will be part of the auction this year, which includes 273 Indians and 132 foreign players. This mini-auction could see a tough competition amongst franchises to grab the all-rounders.

Here’s the top overseas players who could shine in the bright spotlight.

BEN STOKES (ENGLAND)

Ben Stokes is sure to start a bidding war among the franchisees. He is believed to be the biggest on-field miracle worker. Between Carlos Brathwaite of the West Indies bowling a terrifying final over in the 2016 T20 World Cup final defeat and a match-winning fifty in the 2022 final, Stokes has emerged as a leader in England's white ball redefinition. Stokes at a base price of Rs 2 crore, will undoubtedly be under the eye of every franchise at the mini-auction.

CAMERON GREEN (AUSTRALIA)

Cameron Green's vital all-around talent and rapid ascension to Australia's Test squad in 2020 made him an obvious option for the T20I roster. Green's two half-centuries in the three games of the series (the fastest fifty against India in T20Is) helped to establish himself as a dynamic all-rounder. Green has established a base price of Rs 2 crore, making it an attractive proposition for franchisees searching for an international all-rounder.

HARRY BROOK (ENGLAND)

Brook made headlines in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year when he scored the champion Lahore Qalandars team's second-fastest PSL century (48 balls). At an initial price of Rs 1.5 crore, Brook will be the golden player of the team.

SAM CURRAN (ENGLAND)

Curran became a star for England as he finished the tournament as the second-highest wicket-taker with 13 wickets and edged out Pakistan in finals to win its second championship. Curran’s base price of Rs 2 crore can multiply at Friday’s auction as franchisees compete for all-rounders.
