How to Restart iPhone


Step 1: Press and release the volume up button to restart your iPhone.

Step 2: Next, press and hold the volume down button.

Step 3: Hold down the power button.

Step 4: When you see the Apple logo, just release the button. All you have to do now is wait for the phone to turn back on.

Step 5: This will work with iPhones with both Face ID and Touch ID.

In the case of an iPhone 7, simply press and hold both the volume down and the Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously.

For iPhone 6s or iPhone SE 1st Generation, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time.
