iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro & more: When can you order new Apple products in India?

Apple unveiled its latest Apple iPhone range on Wednesday, with the much-awaited foldable iPhone Duo taking centre stage alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The launch was the first major iPhone event under CEO John Ternus, who succeeded Tim Cook on Sept. 1. Ternus presented the Apple iPhone range at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, after updates to the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.

Inside the Steve Jobs Theater, Ternus revived Apple’s launch tradition. After discussing the other products, he told the audience, “actually there is one more thing," echoing the phrase associated with late co-founder Steve Jobs. Jobs had himself borrowed the line from the 1970s detective series “Columbo.”

Apple iPhone Duo brings a 7.6-inch foldable display

The Apple iPhone Duo opens into a 7.6-inch screen, which Ternus described as the “largest display ever on an iPhone, yet fits into your pocket,”. The display is 80% larger than the newest iPhone 18 Pro.

For the first time on an Apple iPhone, users will also be able to use an Apple Pencil directly on the handset, a function previously limited to the iPad. Ternus said Duo “will redefine the experience of using a foldable phone.”

Users can divide its screen between two different apps, or open two windows of the same website, for comparison shopping. At $1,999, the Apple iPhone Duo is Apple’s most expensive iPhone. The foldable could also test how far Indian consumers will pay for a new iPhone form factor.

Apple iPhone Duo price in India starts at Rs 2,99,900

Apple said the Apple iPhone Duo will reach India on October 23, with a starting price of Rs 2,99,900. It will come in star white and night sky, with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB options.

"Customers in more than 70 countries and regions, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, India...will be able to pre-order iPhone Duo beginning at 5 a.m. PT on Friday, October 16, with availability beginning Friday, October 23," the statement said.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max prices in India

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro will be available in India from September 18 at Rs 1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900. Both offer 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities.

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max come in black, silver, glacier and new burgundy. Pre-booking for the Apple iPhone 18 series begins September 12 in 65 countries, including India.

"Customers in more than 65 countries and regions, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, India...will be able to pre-order iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max beginning at 5 am PT this Saturday, September 12, with availability beginning Friday, September 18," the statement said.

The Apple iPhone launch comes as Apple records strong business in India. Apple’s India revenue is estimated to have exceeded $10 billion in FY26, helped by record Apple iPhone shipments. That is close to Rs 1 lakh crore in rupee terms.

Counterpoint Research said Apple iPhone shipments rose 24% year-on-year to 14 million units in FY26. The Apple iPhone remains Apple’s biggest revenue contributor in India.
