iPhone auction: Apple’s first-generation iPhone fetches more than Rs 50 lakh

She could not open the phone since she was locked into a Verizon contract that did not cover iPhones. According to the article, Green pondered selling the iPhone but decided against it and called LCG Auctions in October. She made this decision after learning that a first-generation iPhone could be purchased for around USD 40,000. According to the story, Green said that she planned to use the money for her tattoo shop.


Karen’s iPhone auction began at USD 2,500. Even though it was believed that the phone would cost at least USD 50,000, it sold for considerably more.
