Apple on Tuesday rolled out the much-awaited update to its iOS 16.4. In a surprise, the tech giant rolled out the iOS 16.4 version for iPhones which comes packed with new features and upgrades.

The latest operating system by Apple comes weeks after it went through beta testing, which is available for iPhone 8 and later versions. Here's everything that's new with iOS 16.4. Take a look.

Apple has rolled out iOS 16.4 with 21 new emojis that were first approved in September 2022 by the Unicode Consortium. The new emojis include pink heart, blue heart, grey heart, pea pod, jellyfish, shaking head and more.

The Cupertino-based tech giant is allowing websites to send push notifications on the iPhone if the user has added the apps to the Home Screen. The user will need to accept the request asking for permission to receive push notifications through clicking on the subscribe button.

Now users can incorporate notifications for Home Screen web apps into Focus. iPhone users who add the web app to their Home Screen on more than one device will automatically see it in Focus mode.

Any web application that is added to the Home Screen can display badges to alert the users about the notifications. The user needs to give permission to allow notifications.

After pushing the Voice Isolation feature for FaceTime and other VoIP services, Apple is finally rolling out the feature for cellular calls on iPhone. The feature will cut down background noise during normal voice calls.

Apple has expanded the feature to remove duplicate photos from iCloud Shared Photo Library and remove images that may have been uploaded by multiple users.

Apple has also introduced new Shortcuts for creating new actions. New Shortcut actions include setting up of Stage Manager, which enables or disables and changes the settings for Stage Manager.
