Instagram introduces new feature 'flipping display picture'. Check details here
Meta-owned Instagram recently introduced a new feature named "flipping display picture" that lets users upload both profile pictures and avatars at once.

To accommodate both the original profile photo and the avatar profile photo, Instagram has included a new "flip" feature. On Twitter, Instagram announced the addition of this feature, stating that profile visitors can now switch between two profile pictures.
How to use the flipping display picture feature?
To use this feature, you must first create a new avatar. For making an avatar, follow the steps below:
Go to your profile on the app.
The original display picture is located in the upper left corner. Simply tap it while holding it.
You will notice two tabs in the next pop-up; select the right one.
On that tab, you may create an "avatar" and toggle it to add it to your profile image. You can customize your avatar in a number of ways after clicking "Create," including skin tone, face shape, facial hair, and even clothing.
You may click "Add to profile photo" after generating the avatar.
Additionally, your avatar is always modifiable. Swiping on your profile photo will allow other users to see your avatar waving back at them.
