Instagram influencer fined Rs. 17,000 for shooting reel on highway

An Instagram influencer in India has been slapped with a fine of Rs 17,000 for stopping her car on a highway to shoot a reel. The incident, which occurred in Sahibabad, caused a traffic jam and endangered the lives of other drivers.

According to reports, the influencer, was shooting a reel for her Instagram account when she halted her car on the side of the expressway. It resulted in a traffic jam. They then complained to the police, who subsequently imposed the fine.

The influencer from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, faced hefty fine for violating road safety rules after she stopped her car on a highway to make a video. Vaishali Chaudhary Khutail, with over 652,000 followers on Instagram, was captured in a viral video stopping her car on the highway and striking poses while other vehicles passed by. The police subsequently imposed a fine of ₹17,000 on her for her actions.


Khutail acknowledged the incident on her Instagram and announced that she will provide an explanation during a live stream on Monday evening. She stated that she has received many messages regarding the incident and wants to clear everything up during the live session, inviting her followers to tune in.
