Indian women's hockey team's celebratory dance is Anand Mahindra's Monday motivation

Indian women's hockey team ended their 16-year wait for a medal at the Commonwealth Games by winning the bronze in a thriling encounter with New Zealand.

Indian women overcame New Zealand 2-1 in a shootout, with skipper Savita Punia, often called the 'Great Wall of India', leading the way with three sensational saves.


After the match, India's women players can be seen breaking into a jig in a 54-second video clip that's going viral.

The young women can be seen dancing first to the patriotic song 'Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo', chorusing 'Hindustani' with infectious gusto . They then grooved to Dwayne Bravo's 'Champion'.

Even though India had lost to Australia in a shoot-out in the semifinal, they did not let it affect their confidence as the match with New Zealand too stretched into a shootout. New Zealand came from behind to score in the final minute through a penalty stroke, but in the shoot-out, the Indians were at their best.
