Phone tracked to a location 600 metres away
According to Pragati, the location showed that her iPhone was around 600 metres away when she began searching for it. It was already around midnight, prompting her to head towards the location displayed by the Find My app.“People say that being addicted to your phone is a very bad thing, but for me, not being addicted to my phone is a very bad thing,” she said, explaining that she sometimes remembers her phone only two or three hours after leaving it somewhere.
As she got closer, the distance shown on the tracking service fell to around 100 metres. Pragati said she hoped the phone had not been moved and suggested that someone may have left it where they found it.
‘Every single time I’ve found my phone’
Pragati said Apple’s Find My feature had previously helped her recover her phone on several occasions. She also recalled instances when the device was connected to her Apple Watch, which helped her locate it.“So guys, every single time I've found my phone, it’s only because of the Find My app,” she said.
She recalled that her phone had previously been found at a police station, a vegetable market and twice in trial rooms.
Pragati said she was eventually able to reach the location shown on the app and found her iPhone still there.
