Indian Super League announces Halicharan Narzary's stay with Hyderabad FC

Halicharan Narzary, the Kokrajhar Assam winger, has renewed his contract for another year, Season 2022-23, with Indian Super League club Hyderabad.

Indian Super League (ISL) announced the stay of this 28-year-old with Hyderabad FC on July 5.

Narzary joined Hyderabad FC in 2020. He debuted on the Indian National team in 2015 and has made 27 appearances for the National team. The winger has made a total of 84 appearances in the Indian Super League.


The midfielder had played all the games in the first season, and then in the last season, 2021-22, he got injured in his first game and had to drop out of the ground for a few months. Narzarye fought his injury, recovered, bounced back to the playing squad and helped the club in the final games of the league match.

He acted as an important factor by scoring the match-winning penalty in the final match of Indian Super League (ISL) 2022 and helped Hyderabad FC win its maiden trophy.

Halicharan Narzary expressed his excitement after signing the renewal of his contract with Hyderabad FC, which will allow him to play for the club until the end of next season, 2022-23. He thanked coach Manolo (Marquez) for helping him with his game and also for extending his stay at the club.

"Coach Manolo (Marquez) definitely played a big role in extending my stay at the club. I love to play under him and hope to learn under his guidance for years to come," he added.

Narzary also added that he is thrilled to be a part of this group and that he cannot wait for the new season to start.

As he signs the renewal contract with Hyderabad FC for the season 2022-23, it will make the football fans expect another season of a spectacular game show from this winger.
