Indian Railways: Third rake of Vande Bharat Express ready for speed trails
The third rake of the Express was designed, developed, and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF). It will be tested for about 15,000 kilometres, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Friday.

The train will be tested on regular, poor, and excellent tracks. Nearly two months are needed to complete all of these trials.
Several new adjustments have been made in the train keeping the passenger's comfort in mind.

Ashwini Vaishnaw said Indian Railways will produce 75 Vande Express trains that will link all parts of the country.
Railways will roll out 75 Vande Bharat rakes by August 2023.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, presenting the Union Budget for 2022-23, had said 400 new energy efficient Vande Bharat trains will be introduced in three years.
