An Indian man’s 11-year journey in Australia has taken him from working at a pizza shop and delivering orders to becoming an Australian citizen, owning three pizza franchises, buying a house and building a successful life for his family.

His journey was shared on X by his brother-in-law and entrepreneur Vineeth K, who highlighted how he gradually built his career and business after moving to Australia to study.

Moved To Australia 11 Years Ago To Study

According to Vineeth, his brother-in-law moved to Australia 11 years ago for his education. However, after completing his studies, he struggled to find a job in his field.


With limited options, he took up a full-time job at a pizza shop. His responsibilities included working at the restaurant as well as delivering pizzas to customers.

Despite starting out in a job unrelated to his educational qualifications, he eventually used his earnings to take his first step towards becoming a business owner.

From Pizza Shop Job To His First Franchise

Within three years of working at the pizza shop, he managed to save enough money to invest in a pizza franchise with a partner.

“He got a full-time job at a pizza shop, started working, and 3 years later, with a partnership and some funds, took up a pizza franchise,” Vineeth said.

The move marked the beginning of his transition from an employee to an entrepreneur in Australia.

Expanded From One Pizza Franchise To Three

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the man returned to India, where he got married. He later took his wife to Australia as they continued building their life there.

Meanwhile, his pizza business continued to grow. After starting with one franchise, he went on to acquire two more, eventually becoming the owner of three restaurants.

Bought A House And A BMW In Australia

Vineeth said his brother-in-law’s achievements extended beyond his restaurant business. After more than a decade in Australia, he now owns a house and a BMW in the country.

He has also built a house in Hyderabad and brought his parents to Australia, according to Vineeth.

The journey, which began with a pizza shop job and delivery work, has now turned into a business and family success story spanning more than a decade.

Vineeth shared the story on X after his brother-in-law and his family received Australian citizenship.

“My extended brother-in-law received Australian citizenship for himself and his family this week,” he wrote.
