Indian Idol 13: Aashiqui star Anu Aggarwal says her shots were deleted

In a recent interview, Anu Aggarwal, the famous heroine of the 90s blockbuster film 'Aashiqui', said that she was invited to the Indian Idol 13 along with her co-stars Rahul Roy and Dipok Tijori. They wanted to celebrate the massive success of this film and its impact on the music industry. The songs sung by Kumar Sanu are still very popular. After the release of the film, all three stars of the movie and singer Sanu became household names overnight.

Anu didn't look happy because of her visit to the set of Indian Idol 13. She claimed that all her scenes from the show, including her conversation with others, were deleted. The 53-year-old actress was right beside Rahul Roy, but she was nowhere to be seen when the show was aired on TV.

When contacted, Anu Aggarwal said she lacks ego because she is a sanyasi. But this kind of behaviour has saddened her a lot. Though she spoke fluent Hindi and spoke a lot on the show, the editor chose to cut her out. Despite that, she did not want to complain about anyone or the show.


She also talked with the contestants, but her messages were not shown. However, the channel has not responded to any of these claims yet.
