Indian golfer Amandeep Drall shoots 71 to improve to 32nd place in Spain

India golfer Amandeep Drall continued her excellent performance at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open. After the third day of the Ladies European Tour event, Amandeep climbed to T-32 with a score of 1-under 71. The golfer was pinned to T-34 after day two and at present is 1-under 215 in three rounds.

On the other hand, Vani Kapoor scoring 1-over 74 is 3-over 219, Amandeep is the only other Indian to make a cut. Vani is currently at T-50th. Starting on the back nine, Vani had a double bogey on the 18th.

Among other Indian golfers, Tvesa Malik, Diksha Dagar, Ridhima Dilawari and Neha Tripathi missed the cut.


After three rounds, Spanish player Carlota Ciganda carded a four-under-par 68 to lead on 16-under.

Aiming for a win, Ciganda is leading over the Swedish pair Maja Stark and Sofie Bringner with four-strokes, moving towards the final game in Sitges at the Club de Golf Terramar.

Spanish golfer Ciganda made a strong start with a birdie on the first hole and carded three consecutive birdies from the sixth hole for an excellent outward nine of four-under-par 33. She reached back home with nine steady pars in level par 35.

On the third day, Sofie Bringner stroked the tournament-low round of eight-under-par 64 and Stark carded 67.

The LET two-times winner for the season, Stark performed well in her last seven holes with three birdies and an eagle to reach back in 30 and went out in level par 37.

Argentina player Magdalena Simmermacher carded a 68, and secured 4th place, whereas Scotland golfer Laura Beveridge secured 5th place on 10-under-par.

Sweden golfer Jessica Karlsson and Spain golfer Nuria Iturrioz are pinned at 6th on 8-under-par, with five more players pinned at 8th place on 7-under-par.
