Every year the Infantry Day is celebrated on October 27 to honour, respect and pay tribute to the courageous Indian infantry soldiers who fought and were martyred while saving the nation and its people when the Pakistan Army invaded Kashmir at the time of Independence. Indian Army is celebrating the 75th Infantry Day this year.


Bike Rallies on National Infantry Day 2022
Several events are organised on this day across the country to celebrate the day. Indian Army has organised special bike rallies for the day.


Rallies will be organised across the country in Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir), Shillong (Meghalaya), Wellington (Tamil Nadu), and Ahmedabad (Gujarat).

The distance of the rallies will be around 3,100 km, estimated to be covered in nine days.

The endpoint will be New Delhi to join the day's celebrations at the National War Memorial.
