India beat Zimbabwe by 35 runs to complete 3-0 T20I series sweep
India completed a 3-0 clean sweep of the three-match T20I series after defeating Zimbabwe by 35 runs in the third and final match on Sunday, powered by another impressive knock from 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

Batting first on a slow surface, India posted 192/5 in 20 overs, with Sooryavanshi top-scoring with 81 off 49 balls, including eight fours and four sixes. Shreyas Iyer contributed 27, while Rinku Singh provided the late flourish with an unbeaten 25 off 14 deliveries.

In reply, Zimbabwe were restricted to 157/7 despite Ryan Burl's unbeaten 54 off 43 balls. Fast bowler Mayank Yadav starred with the ball, claiming 3/29 in four overs, while Yash Thakur picked up two wickets.

India had already sealed the series with a 90-run win in the second T20I after opening the campaign with a seven-wicket victory.

Sooryavanshi continues dream run

India lost Abhishek Sharma for just two, but Sooryavanshi and Ishan Kishan steadied the innings with a 75-run partnership for the second wicket. Kishan made 29 as India reached 64/1 in the powerplay.

Sooryavanshi brought up his second T20I half-century in 31 balls before accelerating further with two more sixes. He looked on course for his maiden international century before being dismissed for 81 by Wessly Madhevere.

The teenager finished the series with 151 runs in three innings and was named Player of the Series.

"I try to replicate what I do in training. I had good preparation time after the England tour and I am glad to score these runs for the team and contribute to the series win," Sooryavanshi said after the match.

Mayank, Yash shine with the ball

Zimbabwe's chase got off to the worst possible start when Brian Bennett fell to the first ball of the innings, dismissed by Mayank Yadav.

Ben Curran (20) and Dion Myers (19) briefly rebuilt with a 34-run stand, but Zimbabwe lost wickets at regular intervals. Captain Sikandar Raza was dismissed for a golden duck by Yash Thakur, who also produced a brilliant one-handed return catch.

Ryan Burl fought back with an unbeaten 54, adding 60 runs with Wessly Madhevere (28), but Zimbabwe never seriously threatened India's total. Despite dropping five catches, India comfortably defended 192 to wrap up the series without losing a match.
