India vs West Indies today's match playing 11 prediction
India will face West Indies in a virtual quarter-final clash on Sunday, with the winner set to qualify for the T20 World Cup semi-final in Kolkata. Both teams have two points from two matches and remain in contention for a place in the top four. South Africa have already secured a semi-final berth, but a defeat against Zimbabwe could open the door for either India or West Indies to finish at the top of the group.

India began the Super Eight stage with a loss to South Africa but responded with a comprehensive win over Zimbabwe. The co-hosts made multiple changes to their playing XI in that match, though similar alterations are not anticipated for Sunday’s fixture.

Sanju Samson is expected to open the innings alongside Abhishek Sharma after the pair produced India’s most successful opening partnership of the tournament in the previous match. Ishan Kishan is likely to continue at No. 3 following the effective right-left combination at the top.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav will aim to lead from the front, while Tilak Varma is set to retain his position at No. 5. After struggling at No. 3 earlier in the competition, Tilak adapted well to his revised role, scoring 44 off 16 deliveries in the last outing.

Among the all-rounders, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube and Axar Patel are expected to keep their places. Rinku Singh has rejoined the squad after attending his father’s funeral but is unlikely to feature, with the team expected to stick with the winning combination.
