Ravi Shastri is back in a series of video ads, this time for digital sports destination FanCode. Shastri stars along with youtuber Ashish Chanchlani in the ads urging viewers to choose FanCode to catch up with India's upcoming tour of West Indies.

The series of ads feature light-hearted banter between the former cricketer and entertainer seeking to highlight the features of the digital platform, including the option to choose your own commentator. Choose "Shaz", a merry Shastri tells a nonplussed chef in one of the ads. Shaz, cricket lovers would recall, is Shastri's name as a sports commentator,

The ad videos are going viral on social media. Fans loved the new pairing of Shastri and Ashish.

What didn't escape anyone's attention is how much a natural Shastri looked in those ads, with his beery mannerisms and poker-faced retorts. "Hidden talent out now Ravi Shastri," one user tweeted.

"Ravi Shastri and ads are a funny combination," another commented. Yes, we saw that during his recent Cred ad, where he plays a coach who treats playing hours and happy hours equally seriously.
