India versus South Korea: Asia Cup Men's Hockey 2022 Finals Super 4

India is eyeing a spot in the finals as it takes on South Korea, the leading side so far, in a match to be played in Jakarta’s GBK Sports Complex in Indonesia.

India seeks to defend the championship with a win against rival South Korea as they meet for final Super 4 match on Tuesday.

Even as India managed a 3-3 draw against Malaysia, it still had to settle for a second position in the Super 4 with Korea leading the charts despite same four points but with a better goal difference. Malaysia scored two points with two draws against Japan whereas Japan is out of the game with nil score.


India began with a 2-1 win against Japan in their first match on Saturday. South Korea is leading the points table at Super 4 by 2 (5-3) with India close behind with a score of 1 (5-4). India qualified for the Super 4 by displaying a splendid game to defeat the host Indonesia with a 15 goal margin. Followed by a 2-1 comeback win against Japan who had won in the preliminary stage by a score of 2-5.
