India Post Group C Recruitment 2022: Check all details here

India Post has released the recruitment notification for Skilled Artisans (General Central Service, Group C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) for the post of MV Mechanic, MV Electrician, Painter, Welder, and Carpenter.

The last date for application is 17 October 2022. The age limit is 18-30 years.

The selection for India Post Group C Recruitment 2022 will be based on a competitive trade test. The test will be held on the basis of the syllabus in the respective trade.


The scale of pay for skilled artisans is Rs. 19900/- to 63200/- (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7" CPC) plus admissible allowances.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have certificates in their respective trade from any Government recognised Technical Institution OR must have passed the VIII standard with experience of one year in the respective trade.
• Candidates interested in M.V Mechanic must possess a valid Driving Licence (HMV) to drive any vehicle in service in order to test it.

Those who are interested can send their application to “The Manager, Mail Motor Service, CTO compound, Tallakulam, Madurai-625002”. The application should be sent via Speed post or Registered post only.

If applying for multiple posts then send a separate application for each trade in a separate envelope.

• HMV Driving Licence (in case of M.V.Mechanic only)
• Trade experience of the respective trade
• Community Certificate
