The Indian Postal Department is expected to release the results of the India Post GDS Result 2026 shortly. The results will be declared after completing the recruitment process for 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak posts across the country. The first merit list of India Post GDS Result 2026 will be released in the PDF format on the GDS Online Engagement Portal. India Post GDS Result 2026: Release Time

There is no official confirmation yet regarding the exact release date of GDS results. However, going by previous trends, the merit list is expected to be released anytime from March onwards. The selection process will be purely merit-based, determined by candidates’ Class 10 marks, with no written examination or interview involved.

Shortlisted candidates will then move on to the document verification and medical examination stages. The merit list will be prepared circle-wise and category-wise, and additional lists may be released later if vacancies remain unfilled.

India Post GDS Results: Check eligibility, age limit

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English as subjects; knowledge of the local language is mandatory.

Age Limit: 18–40 years as on January 1, 2026 (age relaxation applicable as per rules).
