India Open Badminton 2023: Date, time, venue, broadcast, live streaming, and prize money

The India Open (Badminton) 2023 is scheduled to begin on January 17 in New Delhi.


Given that it was granted Super 750 classification this time, the competition is one of the most important in India. This would be the first event in this level category to be held in India. Super 750 is one of the six categories into which the BWF World Tour is categorised.



The event will witness competition amongst top badminton players such as World No. 2 player Viktor Axelsen, Akane Yamaguchi, and Lee Zii Jia. From India PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen, and Saina Nehwal will participate in the competition.


The Badminton Association of India is hosting the India Open competition, which will include 97 players competing in the Men's singles, Women's singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles categories. The Badminton World Federation has sanctioned the competition.
