First, some facts you can include in the speech.

  • India has completed 75 years of Independence, the country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
  • Remember the sacrifices of all freedom fighters who fought for independence from colonial rule.

  • Our national anthem Jana Gana Mana was written by Rabindranath Tagore.
  • Our national emblem is an adaptation of the Lion Capital of Emperor Ashoka
  • Our national motto is "Satyameva Jayate", which means "Truth Alone Triumphs", in Sanskrit.
  • Our national flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya, whose birth anniversary we observed on August 2.
