IITian Baba, aka Abhay Singh, found himself at the receiving end of relentless online trolling after his confident prediction about India’s loss to Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 went completely wrong. Leading up to the Ind vs Pak clash, IITian Baba had boldly declared that Rohit Sharma’s side would succumb to defeat, and that Virat Kohli would fail to make an impact. However, what followed was a completely different story.

India crushed Pakistan by six wickets in Dubai, with Virat Kohli scoring a match-winning century and proving IIT Baba’s prophecy utterly wrong. As the Indian team wrapped up the game comfortably, social media erupted with memes and sarcastic comments mocking the IITian Baba for his failed prediction.

As India wrapped up the win, memes flooded social media, poking fun at IIT Baba's misfire. Despite the flurry of online ridicule, the so-called "Baba" has yet to respond to the backlash.




Meanwhile, India’s impressive victory has placed them in a strong position in Group A, inching closer to securing their semi-final spot in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Ind vs Pak Champions Trophy result

India beat Pakistan by six wickets in a one-sided Champions Trophy clash, almost guaranteeing their semi-final berth. Pakistan managed to post 241 all out, with Saud Shakeel top-scoring with 62, and Mohammad Rizwan contributing 46. Kuldeep Yadav (3/40) and Hardik Pandya (2/31) were the stars with the ball for India.

In reply, India made light work of the chase, reaching 244/4 in 42.3 overs, thanks to a sublime unbeaten 100 from Virat Kohli, supported by Shubman Gill (46) and Shreyas Iyer (56). Rohit Sharma also contributed with a quick 20 before being dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.

With two wins from as many games, India is well on track to reach the semi-finals, while Pakistan’s hopes of progressing are all but over after back-to-back defeats.
