The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has extended its last train services on February 12 and the Delhi Police has issued a detailed traffic advisory ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium, including the India vs Namibia fixture. Authorities have announced special metro operations, road restrictions and parking arrangements to manage spectator movement and ensure smooth travel on match days.

Delhi Metro announces special timings for India vs Namibia 2026

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has extended last train timings on February 12 to facilitate spectators attending the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 match at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Metro services will operate late into the night to ensure smooth travel for cricket fans.

The nearest Metro stations to the stadium are Delhi Gate and ITO, both on the Violet Line connecting Kashmere Gate and Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh).

Delhi traffic advisory for Ind vs Nam T-20 match

The Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for February 12, 13, 16, 18 and March 1 in view of T20 World Cup matches at the stadium. Special traffic arrangements will be in place from 9 am to 11:30 pm on match days in different time slots to manage the movement of spectators before and after the games.

Heavy vehicles will not be permitted on JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate up to R/A Kamla Market (both carriageways), Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate, and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg from Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (both carriageways).

India vs Namibia T20 match: Roads to avoid, restriction for heavy vehicles

Commuters have been advised to avoid key stretches:

  • Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (ITO Chowk to Delhi Gate)
  • Asaf Ali Road (Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate)
  • Stretch from Rajghat to JLN Marg
People have been advised to avoid the specified roads from:

  • 9 am to 2 pm on February 10, 16 and 18
  • 2 pm to 7 pm on February 13 and March 1
  • 6 pm to 11:30 pm on February 12

Motorists have been urged to plan their travel accordingly.

India vs Namibia T20: Entry gates

Regarding entry arrangements, Gates 1 to 8, located on the southern side of the stadium, will be accessible from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. Gates 10 to 15 on the eastern side will be accessed from JLN Marg near the Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal, while Gates 16 to 18 on the western side will be accessible from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near the petrol pump.

India vs Namibia match: Ola, Uber, Rapido pick up and drop points

For app-based taxi users, designated pick-and-drop points have been earmarked at Gate No. 2 of Maulana Azad Medical College on BSZ Marg (ITO to Delhi Gate carriageway) and at Rajghat Chowk.

Ind vs Nam T20: Parking restrictions

No vehicles will be allowed to be parked on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg and Ring Road from Rajghat to I.P. Flyover on match day. Vehicles found parked in violation will be towed away and prosecuted as per law, police said.

Ind vs Nam match: Parking

Limited parking will be available near the stadium only for vehicles with valid parking labels. Free parking facilities have been arranged at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road and under Velodrome Road. Vehicles parked on restricted stretches will be towed and prosecuted as per law.

For vehicles with authorised labels, P-1 parking for four-wheelers has been designated at JP Park opposite Gate No. 3 of the stadium, P-2 parking at Vikram Nagar parking adjacent to Shaheedi Park, P-3 parking for two-wheelers near JJB/Prayas office, and P-4 parking at GLNS School (Deaf and Dumb School) near JJB-Prayas office.

Entry to these parking areas will be permitted only from the Vikram Nagar cut on BSZ Marg near Shaheedi Park.

India vs Namibia match: Banned items

Spectators have been encouraged to use the Delhi Metro and public transport for convenience. The traffic police have also advised visitors not to carry prohibited items inside the stadium, including laptops, cameras, helmets, backpacks, eatables, water bottles, power banks, lighters, matchboxes, knives or arms.
