IIM CAT 2022 Registration ends September 21: Here are the details

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 application process will be closed today, September 21, at 5pm on the official website: iimcat.ac.in.

Candidates who have not registered yet for the CAT 2022 Examinations scheduled for November 2022 can visit the official website iimcat.ac.in and complete the registration and application process. Students must make sure that they check the eligibility criteria and other details before completing the process.

While completing the registration process, students need to submit the CAT Registration fee through the link available on the official website.CAT application fee for general category candidates is Rs 2,300 while it is Rs 1,150 for candidates in the reserved category.


The CAT 2022 admit card is set to be released on October 27. CAT 2022 will be conducted on November 27, 2022 in three sections. The exam duration is 120 minutes.

The three sections are

• Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
• Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
• Section III: Quantitative Ability

How to register

• Visit the CAT official website iimcat.ac.in.
• On home page, click on the CAT 2022 Registration link
• Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter required details
• Log in using registration details
• Complete CAT 2022 application form
• Upload all required documents and scanned copies
• Pay CAT 2022 Application Fee through the fee payment gateway
• Submit the application form

Even after the CAT 2022 Registration window closes, candidates will be able to make corrections in the application form when the application correction window is opened.
