IFA Awards in 2023: Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal all set to host the event

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) announced on Tuesday that Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal will host the 2023 edition of the IIFA weekend and awards. The International Indian Film Academy Awards will be held on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row on May 26 and 27.

Abhishek Bachchan expressed his delight at hosting the IIFA Awards in a statement, “IIFA is like family to me, and it gives me great pleasure to celebrate the very best of what Indian cinema has to offer”.

Meanwhile Vicky Kaushal expressed excitement about sharing the IIFA stage with Abhishek Bachchan. He added “I consider myself very fortunate; my association with IIFA dates back seven years to my first film, “Masaan”, for which I won Best Debut, followed by Best Supporting Actor for movie “Sanju” and Best Actor for movie “Sardar Udham” .


The annual gala will be held in collaboration with the DCT Abu Dhabi and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading curator of immersive destinations and experiences. According to reports, Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan will perform at the IIFA Weekend and Awards 2023.
