The prehistoric gang is making a comeback. Disney has confirmed that the sixth film in the Ice Age series, called Ice Age: Boiling Point, will hit cinemas on 5 February 2027. The update was revealed during Destination D23 and later shared on Disney’s official Instagram handle. The post carried the new title along with the teaser line: “Ice Age: Boiling Point was just announced at Destination @disneyd23! Coming to theatres on February 5, 2027, the newest adventure takes the herd to visit never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World! #DestinationD23.”

Returning voices

Several familiar cast members are back. Ray Romano will once again voice Manny the mammoth, Queen Latifah returns as Ellie, John Leguizamo as Sid, Denis Leary as Diego, and Simon Pegg as Buck.

Storyline hint

The official description says the new film will feature a “dinosaur-and-lava-filled madcap adventure” as the herd ventures deep into the Lost World. Expect volcanic landscapes, dangerous paths, and the trademark comic relief of Scrat.
