IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 expected soon: Direct link, tentative dates, and other details

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to release the results for the Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) Preliminary Examination 2025 soon. The exam took place on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025.

About IBPS PO Prelims Exams

The preliminary exam had 100 questions worth 100 marks, divided into three sections. Candidates needed to get a minimum score in each section to move on. There was a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. According to IBPS, the evaluation process placed "heavy emphasis on accuracy and speed".

3. Enter Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth
4. Click on Submit/Login to access the result
5. View individual scores and qualifying status
6. Download and save the scorecard; print a copy for future reference.

This preliminary exam is the first step in the IBPS PO recruitment. Those who pass will be selected for the Online Main Examination. This multi-stage process aims to find candidates with the right skills for Probationary Officer roles. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary stage will proceed to the Mains stage of the selection process which will test advanced reasoning, data interpretation, general awareness, and banking knowledge. Performance in the Mains, followed by the Interview, will determine the final selection.
