The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to announce the results of the Probationary Officers (PO) 2025 preliminary examination this month. The exam was held on August 17, 23 and 24. Once declared, the results will be available on the official website – ibps.in. Candidates will have to use their registration number or roll number along with their password or date of birth to download the scorecard.

IBPS PO 2025 Result: Exam structure

The online preliminary exam was an objective test with a total of 100 marks and a duration of one hour. It had three sections:

English language – 30 questions, 30 marks

Quantitative aptitude – 35 questions, 30 marks (in English and Hindi)

Reasoning ability – 35 questions, 40 marks (in English and Hindi)

Each section had to be completed in 20 minutes. All questions were multiple-choice, with one correct answer. A penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned was applied for each wrong answer.
