In a recent tweet that gained significant traction on social media, Divya Mittal, an IAS officer and a mother of two, shared valuable insights into productivity enhancement tools. Mittal, who manages her official duties alongside writing, publishing articles, and exploring various fields, listed 10 helpful apps and tools on Twitter.

Among the tools she recommended was Print Friendly, a Chrome extension that optimizes webpages, removes clutter, and provides editable previews. Another tool on her list was Tiny Wow, a free photo editing tool that also offers multiple features for processing PDF files. She highlighted Dictation.io, which enables users to dictate emails and documents in multiple languages like English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati directly in Google Chrome. Google Keep, the popular note-taking app, also made it to her list, alongside Notion, a versatile note-keeping app that offers more than just basic note-saving capabilities.

Mittal also mentioned Clean Picture, a photo editing app, Snapdrop, a sharing app, Diffchecker, an app for comparing documents, Hemingway, a text editing app, and Github Copilot, an AI pair programmer designed to expedite coding tasks.

The tweet quickly garnered attention, amassing nearly 600,000 views, with many users expressing their gratitude for Mittal's valuable recommendations.

"At least there's an IAS officer sharing useful content, fulfilling responsibilities beyond the government's duties," one Twitter user remarked.

"Such responsible social media use is what we expect from civil servants, unlike those who focus on self-promotion," another user commented appreciatively.

"I started following you today. Your insights on productivity and your efforts to improve the lives of the underprivileged are truly impressive. We need more tech-savvy officers like you," praised another user.

However, amidst the appreciation, there were voices of criticism, with some individuals questioning Mittal's priorities and time management.

"By engaging in these trivial activities, you're essentially wasting taxpayers' money and a crucial position within the governance system. If you're so dedicated to these endeavors, perhaps you should consider stepping down, allowing someone more deserving to take your place," criticized one user.

"Your talents seem to extend everywhere except your actual job. The best perk of being an IAS officer, I suppose," remarked another, highlighting the contrasting opinions among netizens regarding Mittal's social media activities.
